MBAS 9900 Alarm Annunciator
Introduction: |
It is a Audio Visual Alarm Annunciator. It is best suitable for Control Panels & Switchboards of Diesel Powered Generators, AMF Controllers with trip interlocks, Engine driven Compressors, Fire Fighting Pumps etc. It functions as a complete Annunciator with Control Function to monitor Alarm conditions with both Audio Visual indications. It senses the 12V DC or 24V DC potential contacts & offers output trip contacts for interlocking purpose. It has a built in audible devise. Acknowledged & Reset by built-in push buttons. It consists of 3 basic sections (The Power Pack, The CPU & The Facia) but with an exception that unlike the conventional Annunciators the CPU card accepts 12V DC or 24V DC potential contacts as fault inputs instead of potential free contacts. | |

Firstly, where Electrical Control Circuits work on + 24 V dc supply. MBAS 9900 operates on 24V dc supply. Secondly, where the user has to monitor following Alarm conditions with both Audio & Visual indications. Lube. Oil Temperature Lube. Oil Pressure Gen. Over Speed Jacket Water Temperature High Low Fuel Level Spare MBAS 9900 is available in 4 or 6 window configuration which meets the Requirement. Thirdly, where volt free contacts are not available & separate auxiliary relays, control relays are required which adds to the costs. MBAS 9900 accepts + 24V dc contacts directly from the control circuit. Fourthly, external push buttons & audible bell or buzzers are needed for conventional Annunciator. MBAS 9900 comes with built-in Push Buttons & built-in buzzer. Fifthly, where the user needs trip contacts, which is achieved by separate auxiliary relays & interlocked with other control circuits. MBAS 9900 comes with built-in 2CO trip contacts which are interlocked until all fault inputs normalize. Conventional relay & lamp design is always a clumsy design & tedious to trouble shoot. Most would prefer to avoid it as the cost of wiring up the components & labor is not worth it. The aesthetics cannot be better either.
