In operation, the magneto-dynamic cell makes use of the principle that oxygen is drawn into a magnetic field, thereby increasing the force exerted on a diamagnetic body suspended in the field. The amount of current necessary to restore the position of the body is directly proportional to the O2 level of the sample gas. Very few other gases respond this way, making this method of detection very specific to oxygen.

This analyzer utilizes a long-life electrochemical 'fuel cell' sensor for the detection of Oxygen in process gases. The sensor produces a small millivoltage output which is directly proportional to the Oxygen detected. The output is then amplified and displayed on a digital readout meter and can also be sent to an optional recorder output. The 410 can be supplied with sampling pump or pressure regulator to suit most applications. |
